There are many letters written by Margaret while she was queen. There was a letter to the Company of London concerning the injuries suffered by the tenants of her estate at Enfield, which formed part of her dowry; and another to Canterbury Cathedral. The letters were collected in a book published by Cecil Munro at the Camden Society in 1863. Margaret usually begins her letters by writing "By the Queen (Quene), where Quene is not a typo but Margaret's unique signature."
