Why did Napoleon keep the title of emperor?
Napoleon's freedom of action is not only restricted, but also some people want to damage his dignity. Anyone who deals with him can only call him "General Bonaparte". Their purpose is to deprive him of the title of emperor. In various judicial departments in Europe, the clerk tried his best to erase the emperor's signature from the agreement, but in vain. The title of emperor is his only remaining property, but even this property is always threatened. For six years, he had only one thought: he must keep the title of emperor. This is not out of vanity. For the sake of his son's future, he can never promise to become an ordinary general in the Italian campaign. History cannot be erased, and glorious achievements cannot be changed at will.
